After completing his tertiary education at the University of Cape Town, John joined Deloitte and Touché in Cape Town in 1993 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant (South Africa). After spending seven years in London gaining invaluable experience at number of high profile financial institutions, he returned to Cape Town in 2002 and established Quotient Financial Solutions based in Cape Town. John has extensive experience in external audit, South African taxation, outsourced financial management and advisory services. As Managing Director of Quotient South Africa he is responsible for local strategic direction, client need identification, solution development and implementation.
Sebastian King matriculated at Hilton College in 2001. At School he excelled in sport playing for the first team in Grades 11 and 12 and representing KwaZulu-Natal Midlands at the Under 18 KwaZulu-Natal trials. Sebastian left Hilton College to study a B.Com Accounting Degree at the University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2005 he completed his Honours Degree through Unisa and at the same time he taught Maths, English and Physical Education to previously disadvantaged children at Dumisa Community School in the Edendale Township, Pietermaritzburg. Sebastian decided to pursue a career in a small firm as he enjoyed dealing with entrepreneurs and felt he would be able to add more value to small and medium business.
After matriculating in 2005, Brendin joined a small to medium-sized firm on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, where he studied part-time through UNISA whilst completing his articles. He was admitted as an Associate with the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2015. Brendin is an out the box thinker with a solutions-driven approach and has extensive experience in financial accounting, South African taxation, business processes and advisory services. Brendin joined Quotient as the Operations Director in January 2023 and he is responsible for the day to day running of the firm as well as servicing a portfolio of clients.
